Galerie Cerulean is pleased to present The Book Project by Janet Shapiro. Janet has employed collage as her primary medium over the past years in which she has utilized a vast array of materials including tissue, fine art and wrapping papers along with pastel and paints. It was only natural that she would turn her talents toward bookmaking - something she is entirely familiar with going back to her time at Syracuse University while in pursuit of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Most recently this has come to include books based on true and intimate stories from her past. |
